Designed by Dora, Rye takes inspiration from the wood engravings of English artist Eric Ravilious, capturing a wonderful sense of something scratched, ancient and yet distinctly abstract. Created from lino and woodcarving, the design also draws on the Sussex landscape that surrounds Dora and inspires much of her work. Printed onto a characterful base cloth, its earthy colours and textured quality give Rye a beautifully rustic feel.
