Designed by Dora, Honor began with an antique piece of French lace, which was translated first onto a woodblock and then onto the silk screen. Drawing inspiration from the landscape and ancient monuments surrounding her in East Sussex, Dora’s work is also influenced by the distinctive colours and softly faded quality of English artist Eric Ravilious. Delicate yet full of character, the design is named after Virginia’s second daughter, Honor, whose feminine and quirky nature inspired its spirit. Honor is also available as a wallpaper.
