Romilly

Romilly was designed by Alexandra Palmowski, a graphic artist based in Manchester with a brilliant sense of 3D geometrics. I was attracted to Alexandra’s style as it is reminiscent of the forerunner of Op Art Bridget Riley (1931-), whose geometric patterns have a disorientating effect on the eye and produce movement in colour. This fabric is named after my youngest daughter who is a great tennis player, as the geometric design resembles a racquet. The wide range of colour-ways available for Romilly make it one of the most popular designs in the collection.
